First Watch will introduce its fresh approach to daytime dining to Wynnewood
First Watch Restaurants, the popular breakfast, brunch and lunch concept, today announced it will open its first Philadelphia-area restaurant on Monday, March 7, at 7 a.m. at 31 East Wynnewood Road in Wynnewood. First Watch has had a home in Pennsylvania for nearly 10 years, with three booming restaurants in the Pittsburgh area. This new 3,600-square-foot space will be 33-year-old First Watch’s fourth restaurant in Pennsylvania and will employ about 25 people. Customers in Wynnewood will be among the first to sample the eatery’s fresh, new menu.
“We’ve been planning to bring First Watch’s fresh take on breakfast, brunch and lunch to Philadelphia for years,” said Chris Tomasso, president of First Watch. “Wynnewood is full of residential neighborhoods and families, and we decided that it was the perfect place on the Main Line to make our Philadelphia-area debut.”
First Watch’s menu has evolved significantly since its first Pennsylvania opening in 2007, and the company’s curated new menu takes an elevated approach to traditional and innovative offerings made to order using farm fresh ingredients. It includes items such as Avocado Toast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The Wynnewood restaurant will offer healthy, flavorful favorites like house-made granola and pico de gallo, organic greens, house-roasted vegetables, cage-free eggs and 100% fresh-squeezed orange juice as well as more indulgent, traditional breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings.
On East Wynnewood Road, First Watch will also offer options from the restaurant’s Fresh Juice Bar, featuring the popular Kale Tonic and Day Glow offerings, juiced in-house daily from fresh fruits and vegetables sourced locally whenever possible. The restaurant will serve its exclusive Sunrise Select Premium Blend Coffee, made from slow-roasted, hand-selected, high-grown coffee beans from mountains across North, Central and South America, by the pot.
The new First Watch will open with the restaurant’s latest interior design, which combines farm fresh elements with a high-energy, urban vibe.
In addition to the new Wynnewood restaurant, First Watch plans to open its second Philadelphia-area location in Villanova early this summer.
First Watch serves its entire menu seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The restaurant also offers customers complimentary newspapers and free Wi-Fi Internet access.
