Award-Winning Quaker Steak & Lube Announces October Promotions

The Award-Winning casual-dining franchise Quaker Steak & Lube known for its Best Wings USA and more than 20 sauces, announced today two different promotions that will run through the month of October. Beginning Oct. 1, Quaker Steak & Lube will launch both its “Think Pink” program in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, and its next social media recipe contest, “Sauce It Up!”

Also during the month of October, the company will launch its next social media contest, “Sauce It Up!” where Lube Nation can submit their sauciest recipe creations using The Lube’s own award-winning sauces. Two finalists will be selected each week for five weeks. Once the top ten are chosen by The Lube’s esteemed panel of judges based on creativity, taste and presentation, then Lube Nation will get to vote for the winner through the Facebook App. Fans will be able to upload photos of their culinary creations and some recipes will even be featured on The Lube’s Sauce It Up Cooking channel.

All fans that submit a recipe will receive a ten percent off coupon for Quaker Steak & Lube valid at participating locations. The top ten finalists will receive a cooking kit, including a gift card and sauce.  The overall winner will be crowned the “Sauce It Up!” Champion and awarded the grand prize, a trip for two to the Original Quaker Steak & Lube in Sharon, Pa. to learn the secrets of The Lube kitchen, be a part of a menu ideation session and have their recipe featured in the Saucy Tip brochure.
