Latest Taste to Try Offering Gives Guests a Seasonal Option with German Flair
MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes is bringing a taste of Germany to Guests here in the U.S. with their next offering as part of the brand’s Taste to Try series. In September through mid-October, MOOYAH will offer The Oktoberfest, featuring Swiss cheese, Applewood smoked bacon, grilled onions, kraut and mustard all on a Certified Angus Beef burger served on a non-GMO potato bun.
The Oktoberfest continues the highly successful Taste to Try campaign, as the national leader in the booming fast-casual better burger segment provides Guests with a Seriously Fun new experience each month with innovative burgers. In 2017, the company has offered Guests unique offerings such as The A-Wonderful, featuring A.1. sauce, The Ranch Hand with creamy ranch sauce, two options featuring the brand’s new all natural chicken, The Slawesome and The Grilliant, and much more. While furthering the brand’s commitment to bold and innovative menu options, the Taste to Try campaign has also been a success for franchisees. Check averages with Taste to Try items were more than 40 percent higher than checks without during 2016.
“We continue to find fun and relevant ways to provide our Guests with flavor experiences that match the season through our Taste to Try campaign,” said Natalie Anderson-Liu, vice president of marketing for MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes. “As the temperatures start to dip and fall is in the air, we feel The Oktoberfest will be a hit with those looking for a fresh take on a German favorite.”
In 2017, the brand made the switch to Certified Angus Beef, which meets 10 science-based specifications that uphold higher qualifications than USDA Prime, Choice and Select. The MOOYAH team has continued their focus on menu quality in 2017 with the addition of chicken as a protein option, adding chili, as well as the introduction of an “Our Favorites” menu, which provides easy point-and-order options for Guests.
“We want every MOOYAH experience to be better than the one before which is why our team is fully committed to finding new ways to impress our Guests with the delicious combinations available at our restaurants,” said Michael Mabry, president and COO of MOOYAH. “As we continue to grow and open MOOYAH restaurants in new markets, we are focused on continuously exceeding expectations with our service and the high quality food we offer.”
At MOOYAH, Guests have the advantage of choosing from a variety of bun options, such as baked-in-house artisan potato or multigrain wheat non-GMO buns and hand-crafted lettuce buns called Iceburgers to accompany the never-frozen 100 percent Certified Angus Beef brand burgers, all natural Jennie-O turkey, all natural grilled and hand-breaded chicken, and mouthwatering MorningStar Farms black bean veggie burgers. Each gourmet burger can be customized with five cheeses, Applewood smoked bacon, sliced avocado, along with nine free veggie toppings and 11 free sauces.
MOOYAH’s hand-cut fries come together in a six-step process that takes a total of 24 hours to completely prepare. A delightful combination of constant attention and a little magic help transform U.S. #1 Idaho potatoes into perfect, crisp-on-the-outside and fluffy-on-the-inside fries. Guests also have the choice of savory sweet potato fries. Never one to forget dessert, MOOYAH offers 100% real ice cream shakes, allowing Guests to choose from 10 flavors ranging from vanilla to Hershey’s chocolate to Reese’s to strawberry banana and more.
In 2016, MOOYAH surpassed the all-important 100-unit milestone and will open an additional 14 locations in 2017. The brand also recently celebrated its tenth birthday with a system-wide event.
