Boutique bowling concept with upscale food and drinks scheduled to open this spring
One of Texas’ most innovative entertainment concepts is now under construction at CITYCENTRE Houston in anticipation of a spring opening.
Bowl & Barrel offers a truly unique entertainment alternative, with its modern American tavern featuring house-made specialties, a classic European beer hall and the best in upscale, boutique bowling. It will be a one-of-a-kind destination in Houston for corporate events, private birthday parties, casual get-togethers and adventuresome family outings.
Conceived by Joshua Sepkowitz and Kyle Noonan, co-owners of FreeRange Concepts, Houston’s first Bowl & Barrel will be located at 796 Sorella Ct. in the CITYCENTRE development on the west side of Houston.
“We are very excited to introduce Bowl & Barrel to the great people of Houston and to be part of an extraordinary project like CITYCENTRE,” said Noonan, who grew up in Houston. “I cut my teeth working with the Pappas family, so I’m drawing from that experience to bring a distinctive experience to this area. I think Houstonians will love the original design we’ve created for the space, and I know they’re going to appreciate the upscale food, drinks and craft beers we’ll be serving. We can’t wait to open our doors and get the party started!”
Sepkowitz said the partners chose to locate at CITYCENTRE due to the strong daytime population as well as its location within a 20-minute drive of more than 2 million residents.
“We’ve wanted to bring this concept to Houston for some time, but we were determined first to find the perfect location; and CITYCENTRE certainly fits the bill,” said Sepkowitz. “We’re not only looking forward to welcoming our guests but also to bringing a lot of great jobs to the area.”
This will be Bowl & Barrel’s third location, following its Dallas debut in late 2012 and in The Rim in San Antonio in July 2015.
