Prairie Village’s BRGR Kitchen + Bar, a hot spot in the Corinth Square Shopping Center, has a fantastic selection of burgers and comfort foods, and is striving to further please diners with changes to its comfort food selections. Among the changes are the addition of Tortilla Crusted Queso Catfish, served with pico de gallo coleslaw, the Pig Wings, a plate of pork shanks with barbecue sauce and onion rings, and Poutine, with Scimeca’s sausage, Wisconsin cheese curds, peppers & onions, and brown gravy. These selections are certain to please and make fine additions to already mouth-watering menu offerings.
The main focus of BRGR Kitchen + Bar’s menu, however, is the burger list. With enticing options like the Juicy Lucy and BRGR, the decision of which to order can be difficult. In fact, the burgers offered have gotten the attention of Kansas City at large and won nominations this year from two local magazines. KC Magazine has nominated BRGR for City’s Best Burger, 2012, and 435 South has nominated them for Best Gourmet Burger, 2012, in their Most Fabulous Awards. BRGR Kitchen + Bar is proud to be nominated in both of these categories.
BRGR Kitchen + Bar is also pleased to further support the Prairie Village Jazz Festival with a fundraiser to be held June 21-24. This Dine and Donate event rewards customer donations of five dollars or more with five dollars in bounceback bucks. All proceeds go to the Jazz Festival, which takes place Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Harmon Park. Jazz Festival proceeds go to Heartland Habitat for Humanity.
