Bugaboo Creek Steak House Launches Lobster at the Lodge

Bugaboo Creek Steak House, the family-friendly steak house restaurant chain based on the culture and culinary secrets of the Bugaboo Mountains in the Canadian Rockies, will start its Lobster at the Lodge promotion June 25. The special menu will be available in all 13 lodges through Aug. 19. This is the eleventh year Bugaboo Creek has offered specials for Lobster at the Lodge.

The Lobster at the Lodge menu features six special lobster dishes. The Lobster Tail and Sirloin Combo (a sweet lobster tail paired with Bugaboo’s signature top sirloin served with drawn butter) and Lobster Topped Filet (Bugaboo’s signature center cut filet mignon topped with fresh lobster in a sun-dried tomato basil sauce) are great surf and turf options. For pasta lovers, there is a Lobster Shrimp Penne featuring a sautéed blend of shrimp and lobster in Bugaboo Creek’s vodka sauce tossed with penne pasta and topped with parmesan cheese and parsley. The Lobster Roll Sandwich is sweet lobster tossed with mayonnaise and celery piled high on a buttery roll with lettuce. The Lobster and Shrimp Nachos are a combination of fresh lobster and shrimp in a lobster cream sauce topped with melted cheddar and Jack cheese served over tricolor tortilla chips. Bugaboo Creek will also serve a classic—Lobster Bisque—during the promotion.

“Our lodges are mostly on the East Coast where people love lobster,” said Chris Campbell, president and head trail guide of Bugaboo Creek. “Our regulars look forward to Lobster at the Lodge every year and it is a great way to highlight some of our signature seasonal favorites. We have perfected these menu items over the years and we are happy to continue to offer them to our customers each summer.”

A new dessert and new drink will also be available for a limited time. Strawberry Fosters is fresh, hot, sweet, fried dough topped with vanilla ice cream, homemade strawberry sauce, whipped cream and dusted with powdered sugar. Strawberry Moose Juice is Bugaboo Creek’s signature Moose Juice paired with a sweet strawberry mix.
