Café 86 has grown to nearly 30 locations in 2023 as it seeks to expand across the country.
Café 86, a fun fast-casual franchise filled with Ube-centric desserts and other Instagrammable specialities, has just announced four new franchise groups to join its network.
The brand is soon to land in Little Tokyo, in downtown LA. This location is owned by Stacey Kwong. San Ramon will also be getting a new Café 86, owned by Dinesh and Deepali Nemade. Bill and Georgia Revilla are owners of the third franchise location, coming soon to Fresno.
Derrick and Yumi Gavilan also have signed for a single unit for Tustin.
“We are honored and blown away by such amazing growth this month. Each and every one of our franchisees is well-qualified, professional, and brings a tangible passion to their ownership,” stated Ginger Dimapasok, co-founder of Café 86. “Our teams have worked hard to create a business that is accessible for entrepreneurs and for those who have fallen in love with Café 86. Our expansion, our momentum with our sales really shows that.”
The brand has had quite the year as it rolled out its franchise opportunity for the first time. Since its launch, it has landed new locations throughout California, one in Arizona, and one in Las Vegas, totaling nearly 30 stores.
The brand is known for its signature desserts, all made with the root vegetable, Ube, or purple yam. Its menu consists of over 30 items created with the purple yam, all offering a visually- stunning experience and hints of vanilla and coconut in every bite.
