More of the West Coast will soon be sampling the signature tastes of Café 86 as three new locations were added this month. The delightfully surprising ube-centric dessert and coffee franchise will soon be opening shops in Los Angeles, Simi Valley, and Daly City. Powerful unit growth for the franchise has resulted in nine new locations already signed for in 2024.
“Our entire franchise team has worked tremendously hard finding and vetting quality franchisees for Café 86 — entrepreneurs who understand not just business ownership, but everything that Café 86 represents as a brand,” stated Ginger Dimapasok, who co-founded the brand with James Dimapasok in 2014.
Southern California is gaining two Café 86 stores. Franchise partner Neyda Honda purchased the Simi Valley territory, and Patrick and Jacy Sia will soon open a Café 86 in Canoga Park within Los Angeles. The coffee and dessert franchise will also head north, landing in Daly City, owned by franchisee Connie McGhee.
