Kerry Norton

“We’re firing up the grill and turning back the clock for National Burger Day in Virginia,” said Applebee’s Executive Vice President Kerry Norton. “And we are not talking about your basic burger and bun. “Applebee’s burgers are handcrafted, made from an all-beef patty topped with two slices of American cheese.  Garnished with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles and nested in a Brioche bun, our burgers are guests’ favorites and we are very proud of the superior product we serve daily in each our neighborhoods.”

Applebee’s Impossible Burger

A $5 National Burger Day deal sounds Impossible, which is ironic as the Impossible® Burger & Classic Fries is also available for $5. Applebee’s Impossible Burger is made from plants for those who prefer a non-meat option and is topped with two slices of American cheese. The craveable creation is served with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles on a Brioche bun with Classic Fries on the side.

SSCP has invested more than $1,500,000 ($125,000 per restaurant) to revitalize its Virginia-based Applebee’s restaurants and improve their neighborhoods. Through this investment, the community has taken notice and the restaurants have experienced a resurgence unprecedented in the area.

SSCP has invested in these Virginia restaurants by adding new booths, new TV packages, juke boxes and upgraded sound systems, new flooring and blinds, manicured landscaping, exterior lighting and roof cap, LED lighting, and new front doors in some locations and topped it all off with a fresh coat of paint.
