The franchise rolls out its opportunity this month, complete with ongoing support and marketing tools, seeking to add new locations across the U.S.
Cooking class franchise, Chef Pam’s Kitchen, announced this month its new franchise opportunity available throughout the U.S. The company, known for its cooking classes for all ages, local chef pop up events, winter farmers market, supper club meetups and commercial kitchen rentals, is calling for new franchise partners to join its network.
“Now in our 2nd location, we have seen the direct impact our business has had on the community, the associates we are able to hire and the artisans that utilize our commercial
kitchens,” stated Pam Dennis, owner and founder of Chef Pam’s Kitchen. “We learned a lot over the course of four years – many mistakes along the way but always got a little bit smarter throughout the journey. Now we are able to offer franchisees a format that they can utilize that incorporates our learnings and successes where they can hit the ground running.”
Chef Pam’s Kitchen was first started by Dennis, a retired Navy Captain who served the nurse corps for 24 years, who launched the small format business back in 2019 in an 860’ storefront. In spite of Covid, she opened a large format concept that grew by five times its size in 2021. The brand opted to expand its offerings by adding an additional four commercial kitchens for local artisans to utilize, created larger class and dining areas, developed a new retail marketplace and now welcomes groups of up to 99 people for private events.
“My husband is a customer experience expert, has written books and speaks to organizations all over the world on how to deliver a great service experience. I have the culinary background and together we have packaged our strengths into the business,” she said. “We are confident there are others who have a similar passion for food and fellowship and are excited to share our model with them.”
The Chef Pam’s Kitchen franchise model is backed by an extensive support program, complete with comprehensive, hands-on training, operational procedures, advertising strategies, customizable collateral, and more, all available and accessible throughout the entire life of the franchise agreement.
Franchise partners benefit from a flexible model and can choose the types of classes they offer, the events they host, and whether or not they will rent the space out.
Organic social media buzz follows Chef Pam’s Kitchen due to its span of classes and events, sparking fun and inspiration for all generations. Currently, the corporate location, found in downtown Waukesha just outside of Milwaukee, is hosting an indoor farmers market through April 15th. The business also includes a retail marketplace that is open after classes and throughout the week, which has a sweeping showcase of local artisan-created foods, with things like toffees, jams, gluten-free cookies, keto-friendly soups, and much more.
“Cooking is my passion and to share my love of cooking with our future generations. My Mom gave that love for cooking to our family and I want to carry that on by providing a Chef Pam’s Kitchen in many locations,” said Dennis. “I’d love to see everyone enjoy these culinary experiences, food and fellowship — gathered in the kitchen and around the table enjoying the fruits of your labor.”
Since 2019, Chef Pam’s Kitchen has served the community of Waukesha with hands-on cooking classes, special events, commercial kitchen spaces for rent, and other hyper-local experiences. The brand is the winner of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporations ‘Pitch’ contest and a Top Choice Award winner.
