Chicken Salad Chick Foundation Announces Country Music And "The Voice" Superstar Blake Shelton Will Headline Music & Miracles SuperfestConcert promoter Basis Entertainment with co-creator Dill Management Group have secured country superstar and five-time CMA Male Vocalist of the Year winner Blake Shelton to headline the second Music & Miracles Superfest to be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Jordan-Hare Stadium.  Joining Shelton is a long list of stars including multi-platinum singer/songwriter Thomas Rhett, history making chart-topper Kelsea Ballerini and country newcomer David Ray, with a special guest performance from Rock and Roll Hall of Fame icons Lynyrd Skynryd. Proceeds to benefit The Chicken Salad Chick Foundation.

“All of us at Basis Entertainment appreciate the mission behind Music & Miracles Superfest and we are excited to bring it to Jordan-Hare stadium for its second year,” says Gary Dewaard, owner of Basis Entertainment. “It was a sold-out show last year, and raised money and awareness for two very important causes. We have an amazing line-up again for 2017 and expect to make more miracles a reality for the Auburn community.”

The Music & Miracles Superfest mission is to bring the biggest and brightest stars together to entertain while raising funds for two of the greatest needs.  The concert will benefit the Chicken Salad Chick Foundation with proceeds to go towards fighting cancer and feeding the hungry.

Last year’s inaugural concert was the vision of the late Kevin Brown, co-founder with his wife Stacy Brown, of the Auburn-based Chicken Salad Chick restaurant.  “Kevin was always at work even during his treatment planning this concert.  It became his purpose and his drive right up to the end,” Stacy explained.  “It was Kevin’s dream to make history, to make music and to make miracles at Jordan-Hare.  Even though he was no longer with us physically when concert happened last April, it was such a magical night we all knew Kevin was still working hard to make it perfect! This time, the goal is the same—to party with a purpose so we can make miracles happen for those in need.”
