Fast-Casual Restaurant Concept Offers Free Original Chick with Valid ID on Nov. 11
Chicken Salad Chick, the nation’s only southern inspired, fast casual chicken salad restaurant concept, is saluting US service men and women this Veteran’s Day by offering a free Original Chick at all 43 locations. On Wednesday, Nov. 11, veterans who present proof of service in the form of ID Card* will receive one sandwich or scoop of their choice of chicken salad, one side, a pickle spear and a cookie.
“This Veteran’s Day, we wanted to give our thanks by offering a free meal to those who selflessly serve us every day of the year,” said Stacy Brown, Chicken Salad Chick founder. “At Chicken Salad Chick, we are strong supporters of the US military and feel it’s our duty to say thank you in any way possible.”
The Original Chick is one of Chicken Salad Chick’s most popular menu items. With 15 original flavors of chicken salad to choose from, there is something delicious to please every guest’s taste. In addition, the Original Chick comes with a choice of one side dish, including freshly prepared broccoli salad, grape salad, pasta salad or fresh fruit.
The Chicken Salad Chick concept, born in Auburn, Alabama, was established in 2008 in the kitchen of founder, Stacy Brown. When Stacy discovered that the local county health department would not allow her to continue making and selling her delicious recipes out of her home kitchen, she overcame that obstacle by launching her first restaurant with the business expertise of her future husband and fellow founder, Kevin Brown. Together, they opened a small takeout restaurant, which quickly grew; the company now has 43 restaurants across the Southeast.
