Dairy Queen sweetens the holiday season this year with delectable holiday-themed treats including the popular Candy Cane Chill Blizzard Treat, as well as Candy Cane Chill Royal Shakes and Candy Cane Chill Blizzard in a Waffle Cone.
Available at participating Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill restaurants nation-wide from Nov. 29 to Jan. 1, the Candy Cane Chill Blizzard Treat is a mouthwatering combination of crushed peppermint candy cane pieces and rich choco chunks mixed with creamy DQvanilla soft serve and served in a waffle cone, a cup or as a DQ Royal Shake. The Royal Shake is crowned with fluffy whipped topping and sprinkled with candy cane pieces. The Candy Cane Chill Blizzard Treat is available in four sizes, including the popular Mini, and Royal Shakes are available in three sizes.

Many Blizzard Treat flavors, including Candy Cane Chill, easily can be made into DQ Cakes which are perfect for Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year’s, birthdays, anniversaries and more.
The Dairy Queen system began blending simple combinations of candies, chocolates, fruits, nuts and cookies with DQ soft serve in 1985 to create the signature Blizzard Treat. The iconic treat has created the served upside-down Blizzard culture and since then, one-of-a-kind flavors such as S’mores, Chocolate Candy Shop and Confetti Cake have delighted Dairy Queen fans as part of the featured Blizzard of the Month program, which began in 2003.
