The original location will now be under ownership of a new franchisee.
Gourmet chocolatier, Chocolate Bash, has welcomed a new franchisee to its network this month.
The newest franchisee, Mehdi Hamzhe, is set to take over the original location in Newport Beach, California. The locally-famous brand was first opened in 2015 by founder Rasha Albasha. “From day one, we’ve grown quickly, “ stated Albasha. “Initially we had no advertising and still saw lines out the door at this location.”
The company still has two corporate-owned locations. One is in Los Angeles and one in Tustin. “This is a big step for us. Placing one of our most popular locations in the hands of a franchise partner like Mehdi will allow our franchise development team to be focused on expansion and on training as we launch additional territories,” asserted Albasha. Two additional franchise stores can be found in Claremont and Glendale, CA.
Chocolate Bash serves sweet crepes and waffles, fruit salads and Belgian chocolate dipped fruits all within a quick service model. Albasha points out that the model is relevant, affordable, and applicable in most markets. “Chocolate Bash is a concept that we can take and apply to every state. We have more potential deals lined up already. I’m excited for what 2021 will do for the Chocolate Bash brand,” said Albasha.
The company is still seeking new franchise partners to join their network, according to Albasha. “We want entrepreneur-minded people who are driven and who will take the brand’s presence to the next level with us, “ Albasha said. Marketing guidance and collateral designs, comprehensive training for all areas of operation, and ongoing support for the life of the franchise are all included in the Chocolate Bash franchise offering.
