Church’s Chicken, famous for its signature hand-battered fried chicken, will celebrate the opening of its new location at 429 L’Enfant Plaza on Friday, January 30, 2015. The new restaurant is located inside the L’Enfant Plaza food court, in the heart of the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.

The new Church’s restaurant will be the first location in the Washington D.C. area in over a decade. Church’s Chicken aims to satisfy the monumental taste buds of chicken passionates throughout the district with the same mouthwatering flavors that have made Church’s a household name for more than 60 years.

“Washington D.C. is a market with great possibilities for the Church’s brand,” said Robert Jacks, Field Marketing Manager at Church’s Chicken. “We are thrilled to offer our delicious products to the people within the D.C community and hope to establish a strong brand presence within the market.”

In celebration of the newly opened restaurant, guests will enjoy a “Big Game” themed grand opening event between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Fri., Jan. 30th. The first thirty guests who visit the new Church’s location on the day of the event will receive a “FREE Chicken for a Year” card, which can be used to redeem one FREE 2 piece mixed & biscuit meal per week for one year. Guests can also enter to win a Big Game party, catered by Church’s, for up to 20 people and even a chance to win a 50” TV for the big game.

“We are very excited to be a part of the Church’s family,” said Rakesh Kalotra, the local franchisee for this new Church’s Chicken location. “We are looking forward to serve the Washington Metropolitan area with great tasting southern style fried chicken, honey butter biscuits and great tasting sides.”

Local radio station 99.7 FM will be on site and help Church’s celebrate the launch of its newest restaurant location with great music. Guests in attendance will also be able to enjoy complimentary Church’s signature honey butter biscuits between noon and 3 p.m.
