New Franchisee Kicks off Restaurant Expansion in Smyrna
Church’s Chicken announced today the opening of its newest restaurant in Smyrna, TN. The global quick service restaurant chain will be satisfying the area’s chicken passionates under first-time franchisee, Volunteer Chicken, LLC. Doors will officially open on Thurs., Aug. 17. The franchise group plans to open a total of ten restaurants in the middle Tennessee region.
The President of Volunteer Chicken, Larry Lavigne, has over 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry and owns several Jett’s Pizza locations throughout the state of Tennessee. He also owns a Tropical Smoothie Cafe and is excited to add the Church’s Chicken brand to his restaurant portfolio. With all of his experience, Lavigne will be working hands-on with restaurant staff during the coming months.

The restaurant is strategically located at 931 Sgt. Asbury Hawn Way, a high-traffic area. Guests will find the restaurants bear the attractive STAR Image Design, which includes Church’s latest interior seating options, new exterior design and color palettes, and contemporary lighting inside and out.
