City of Doral Supports 3rd Annual ‘Taste of Doral’, a Doral Chamber of Commerce Event, Runs July 1st through July 31st, 2014

The City of Doral Council members voted to support the 3rd annual Taste of Doral.  The unanimous vote took place during the city’s May 14th morning council meeting.  During Council comments, Councilwoman Sandra Ruiz, proposed adding Taste of Doral logos to the city’s website for promotion, as well as adding the city’s link to the T.O.D. website.  The Taste of Doral restaurant promotion is aiming to spotlight Doral’s vast culinary landscape with more than 200 restaurants located throughout the city.

In addition to their support, Mayor Luigi proposed sponsoring Taste of Doral.  The City is now a Golden Spoon Sponsor, adding more prestige and notoriety to the restaurant promotion taking place throughout the slow summer month of July.

The City of Doral has more than 200 of the finest restaurants.  The 1st Annual Taste of Doral launched in July of 2012, created and organized by the Doral Chamber of Commerce and drew in more than 15 participating restaurants.  The promotion received local media attention and was featured on television segments such as: WSVN-7 News’‘Bite with Belkys’and ‘El Show de Fernando’on AmericaTeve as well as publications such as The Miami New Times and The Miami Herald.

The Doral Chamber of Commerce was founded in 2008 and is committed to assisting businesses to create new revenue sources, helping the city meet the needs of it’s residents and business partners, and assisting individuals to meet their personal needs and desires.
