Timothy Ryan, President of EVEVE’s North American operations, announced today that it has expanded its United States presence to four of America’s most important markets by partnering with critically-acclaimed restaurants in Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, Sacramento and the Bay Area. Continuing a successful rollout of its cloud-based online reservations system, EVEVE signed four leading California restaurants, allowing them to take back control of their own customer databases while substantially lowering their costs.
“Our business continues to demonstrate strong momentum in 2012,” said EVEVE’s Ryan. “More and more restaurateurs are spreading the word that our advanced technology allows us to drop their costs tremendously. This ‘double bonus’ has fueled the growth of our market penetration in restaurants, seated diners and number of key markets throughout the U.S. and Canada.
EVEVE announced its newest expansion plans into California, eight other states and two provinces in Canada after surpassing expectations in their initial U.S. test market of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Entering the U.S. market just 10 months ago, EVEVE has succeeded in capturing 39% of all Twin Cities online bookings and announced last month that they have now surpassed Urbanspoon’s Rezbook as Open Table’s leading U.S. competitor.
“We’re focusing our growth efforts in areas that we believe position us to realize the long-term opportunity for us to continue to successfully emerge as Open Table’s leading challenger throughout North America and Europe,” said Ryan.
Two of the Bay Area’s most critically acclaimed and busiest restaurants – Silicon Valley’s Mountain View’s Xanh, (just three miles from Google’s home office “The Googleplex”) and Santa Rosa’s Zazu (both formerly with Open Table), Musso and Frank – one of Hollywood’s most revered restaurants – and Grass Valley’s The Owl announced today that they have switched their online booking systems to EVEVE. “We are very honored and excited to be able to establish our initial presence in America’s most important market by announcing our partnerships with these amazing restaurants,” said Ryan.
