Columbiana Centre welcomes South Carolina’s second popular bakery café

Columbia Doubles Down on Sweetness with Opening of Second Nestlé Toll House CaféShoppers in Columbia just got a double dose of their favorite sweet treats when Columbiana Centre officially welcomed the city’s second Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip on Friday, Sept. 5.

The popular bakery café serves up freshly baked cookies, premium Nescafe Milano coffee, smoothies, crepes and a wide array of other mouthwatering treats and lunchtime snacks. This marks the second Nestlé Toll House Café in the Palmetto State and the 136th system-wide.

“Since Columbia’s first Nestlé Toll House Café opened across town at the Village at Sandhill, there’s been no question that our cafés are a perfect fit for South Carolina,” said Shawnon Bellah, senior vice president of international operations for Nestlé Toll House Café. “Over the years, we’ve developed a reputation for providing warm and friendly customer service across the country, and now we’re looking forward to serving it up two-fold in the Capital of Southern Hospitality.”

Complete with its own comfortable seating area, the new storefront features digital menus displayed on eight LED screens and an upgraded design that showcases the brand’s distinctive product offerings in a more efficient and attractive manner.

“The idea of introducing the best that Nestlé has to offer has been absolutely thrilling for me,” said Lustman. “I’m very familiar with the landscape at Columbiana Centre, and I have no doubt our bakery café is going to be welcomed with open arms by shoppers and fellow tenants alike.”

The premium dessert destination concept is built around the world’s most powerful food brand – Nestlé. Along with its universally loved Nestlé Toll House cookies and cookie cakes, the new café serves brownies, muffins, smoothies, ice creams, cold drinks and Nescafé Milano coffee.

The café is also a great lunch option thanks to its savory, made-to-order crepes, featuring everything from smoky bacon to egg and cheese to chipotle chicken, chocolate-dipped strawberries and more. Other delicious meal options include salads, wraps and Panini sandwiches.

Columbiana Center is located at 100 Columbiana Circle, with the new café situated in the mall’s food court. Café hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
