Cowboy Chicken Wood Fire Rotisserie Opens Newest Franchise in Denton, TX

Cowboy Chicken, the popular seven-unit Dallas-based fast casual wood fire rotisserie chicken brand, has opened their newest franchised location in Rayzor Ranch at 2520 West University Drive, Denton, Texas.  The new 2800 square foot Cowboy Chicken in Denton is the third franchised location for Vesta Restaurant Group who plans to open ten Cowboy Chicken restaurants in the Dallas Fort Worth area over the next few years.

“We are pleased to bring the legendary wood-fired Cowboy Chicken to Denton,” said Bob Andersen, president of Vesta Restaurant Group.  “We look forward to opening more locations to feed our followers!”

Cowboy Chicken was recently chosen number one, “Hot Restaurant Chain to Buy into Now”, by Forbes magazine, and is seeking qualified operators to franchise and grow the popular concept with its winning combination of menu, décor and operations.  Known for its famous all natural, wood-fired rotisserie chicken, cooked on a custom-built rotisserie stacked with hickory wood to deliver their unique, wood fire flavor, the thirty-year old Cowboy Chicken brand is continuing its expansion through franchising.

“We are fortunate to have not only a 30 year track record of success, but franchisees that operate as well as the Vesta team,” said Sean Kennedy, President, Cowboy Chicken.  “We are looking to expand our brand throughout the United States and partner with other similar franchise groups to grow.”

Besides the new franchised location open in Denton, Cowboy Chicken is continuing to grow and seeking qualified franchisees, those with quick service restaurant experience and multi-unit operators, who will benefit from a thirty-year old brand which is a predictable, measurable and sustainable investment opportunity.  Candidates interested in opening a Cowboy Chicken should possess a passion for the brand and serving guests and families in a fast-paced environment.

For over 30 years, the “downhome Cowboys” at Cowboy Chicken have been cooking all natural chicken over a wood-burning fire, and today guests enjoy the same delicious wood-fired rotisserie chicken along with seventeen different fresh homemade sides. Since its humble beginnings in 1981, Cowboy Chicken has perfected the taste of chicken on a wood burning rotisserie and created the now famous Twice-Baked “Potaters”. Other long time favorites are the famous Cowboy Chicken Enchiladas stuffed full of delicious all white meat rotisserie chicken and their amazing Chicken salad sandwiches.   Homemade Southern Blackberry Cobbler finishes off any Cowboy meal and, both their award-winning Chicken Enchiladas and homemade Cobbler have been on the menu since Cowboy’s inception, thirty years ago.

Cowboy Chicken also features healthy and delicious fresh salads and sandwiches, grilled skinless chicken breast and nutritious sides such as seasonal fruit, baked Sweet Potato, Green Beans, and Campfire Veggies, which can all be ordered online.  Online ordering is available for lunch and dinner, take-out, home delivery and catering services.
