Cullen’s Restaurant now offers its renowned fare to customers via a new catering service, says owner Kevin Munz, by customer demands.
“We have catered events in the Clear Lake area since Cullen’s opened in 2008,” Munz explains, “but now, in response to an increasing number of client requests, we have committed to take the Cullen’s experience all over Houston. Therefore, we have invested in a fleet of new vans and a full complement of first class portable equipment.”
Cullen’s General Manager Ryan Roberts argues that Cullen’s catering services differ from most competitors in a fundamental way: “Our strength is that Cullen’s catering services have grown naturally out of the operation of a successful restaurant. Cullen’s can offer its clients the consistency that eludes many catering companies. We use the same staff for catering as for all other restaurant operations, and these team members understand our standards and our way of doing things.”
“Any catering order placed with Cullen’s is customizable,” Munz points out. “Whether it’s catering for a dozen people or for thousands, we can accommodate customer requests. And we are not limited by a standard catering menu. We listen to what each customer wants, then formulate a menu that includes the foods they desire at the budget that has been specified.”
Cullen’s chef Paul Lewis amplifies this statement, explaining, “There is no limit to what we can do. We are well-versed in many cuisines, including Italian, Asian, French, German, barbecue, and Tex-Mex. We are very good at finding the best solution for each of our clients.”
