Free Fro-yo from 5-7 pm on April 11
CUPS Frozen Yogurt – That’s Hot, the beach-themed self-serve fro-yo concept, will celebrate the grand opening of its Northridge location by offering free frozen yogurt from 5-7 pm on Saturday, April 11 at the Northridge Fashion Center, 9301 Tampa Avenue, Suite 146 in Northridge.
During the grand opening week, each Northridge customer will be given a “scratch off” card, which contains prizes such as lip balm, beach balls, sunglasses and CUPS coupons. One lucky winner will receive free fro-yo for a year.
This is the first CUPS franchise location for David and Lori Cantrell of the Cantran Group.
Since opening the first CUPS in Clifton, New Jersey in 2010, CUPS has taken the fro-yo industry by storm, becoming the local hot spot for teenagers and adults alike who make their own fro-yo concoctions choosing from 18 yogurt flavors and over 50 different toppings and three sauces.
The Exchange, a popular Yahoo Finance blog, named CUPS as one of “The Most Popular Fast-Food Outlets You Haven’t Heard Of (Yet).”
CUPS has 22 locations in New Jersey, New York, California and Florida.
According to CUPS co-founder Brad Honigfeld, CUPS is much more than great frozen yogurt; CUPS was designed around the experience.
“It’s more of a club like experience. We pump out club dance music at volumes that create a highly energetic vibe, a lounge-type design with couches, ottomans and eclectic murals; and Cast Members with infectiously fun personalities. It’s the complete experience that gives us that edgy vibe versus an everyday yogurt bar or ice cream shop experience,” said Honigfeld.
