Foodservice Radio – the streaming internet radio station programmed for the food service operator – is now releasing a daily podcast. These podcasts feature the most popular on-air stories and are available through the station website at www.foodserviceradio.net, through the iTunes store, as well as on Stitcher. A new 15-minute podcast is released each day.
Since the station launched at the National Restaurant Show in May, Foodservice Radio has interviewed dozens of operators and industry experts and created a robust library of programming. “Listeners have been asking where they can hear individual programs or features. Podcasts fill this need and are a logical extension of our 24-hour internet stream,” says Bob Ryals, station manager at Foodservice Radio.
Recent podcasts topics include: Renegotiating Your Lease, Turning Your Restaurant into a World Class Brand, Dealing with Special Nutritional Needs, Finding Sustainable Seafood, Saving Thousands on Your Energy Bills, and Managing Gen Y Employees. Foodservice Radio podcasts deal with every aspect of running a food service operation. It is a daily update on topics critical to the food service operator.
“On Foodservice Radio we talk with a broad range of operators and industry experts,” says Ryals. “In the podcasts we interview restaurant owners, chefs, caterers, manufacturers, distributors, consultants, and even health inspectors – people with knowledge and experience in the industry. Operators can stay on top of their business by listening just 15 minutes a day.”
