Back by popular demand, the DQ system’s most popular lunch offering really brings home the bacon
Beginning this July, it’s all about the bacon at DQ locations throughout the U.S.
Dairy Queen is bringing back the Bacon Cheeseburger $5 Buck Lunch, the number one most requested value meal that is now being offered throughout July and August.
One of the best value options in the industry, the DQ Bacon Cheeseburger $5 Buck Lunch features a 100 percent beef patty topped with hickory smoked bacon, ketchup, mayo, and melted American cheese. It also includes fries, a 21 oz. beverage and a classic DQ sundae. Fans can also upgrade to a $6 Buck Lunch with options including a Deluxe Bacon Cheeseburger or Crispy Chicken Sandwich.
“Bacon is so popular it should have its own month. So we’re giving an unofficial salute to bacon beginning in July at our DQ restaurants with the return of our Bacon Cheeseburger $5 Buck Lunch, a fan favorite,” said Barry Westrum, Executive Vice President of Marketing for American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ). “Nowhere else will you find a value meal that includes a bacon cheeseburger, fries, drink plus our one-of-a-kind DQ sundae. It’s the most bang for your bite and wallet.”
Fans can also upgrade the $5 Buck Lunch with a Blizzard Treat for $1. In celebration of National Ice Cream Month, the featured Blizzard of the Month is the M&M Peanut Butter Monster Cookie Blizzard.
The M&M Peanut Butter Monster Cookie Blizzard is a sweet and crunchy blend of M&M candies, smooth peanut butter, choco chunks and peanut butter cookie pieces hand-crafted together with creamy DQ signature vanilla soft serve.
Many Blizzard Treat flavors can easily be made into DQ Cakes which are perfect for special events such as Fourth of July, National Ice Cream Day, birthdays and anniversaries.
