Dickey’s Barbecue in Moline is Back to Smokin’ as Usual

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit has re-opened its restaurant in Moline. The restaurant temporarily closed in December after a small kitchen fire.  Damage to the Moline location was not extensive but did require smoke clean up prior to reopening.

“This side of the river has really been missing their barbecue,” said Dickey’s Barbecue General Manager Bill Jensen. “The community has been great – they are happy to have us back.”

Dickey’s Barbecue opened its doors in the Moline community in May 2011.  This is the second franchise location for owner/operator Bruce Norden.

“We are committed to safety at all of our locations,” said Roland Dickey, Jr., president of Dickeys Barbecue Restaurants, Inc.  “We are all thrilled that the Moline restaurant is back to making great barbecue.”

This store is now open and serving authentic barbecue. It is located at 3419 Avenue of the Cities. The store phone number is 309-797-1100. Dickey’s is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Dickey’s Barbecue offers a quality selection of signature meats, home style sides and tangy barbecue sauce. For more information, including a full menu, other restaurant locations and franchising opportunities, please visit www.dickeys.com.
