Dickey’s Barbecue is adding a new store to its growing barbecue chain. Philip Lezar, a lifelong Dallas resident, has signed on to become the newest franchise owner of a Dickey’s restaurant in Texas.
“I grew up eating Dickey’s Barbecue in Dallas,” said Lezar. “It offers quality food and excellent customer service—who wouldn’t want to be a part of that?”
Lezar is currently looking for sites in the developing Prosper area. He graduated Dickey’s Barbecue University in February 2012. He hopes to open his new store around the middle of June.
“We are thrilled to welcome Philip in to the Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurant family,” said Roland Dickey, Jr., president of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc.
