Texas-style barbecue brand holds three-day International summit at their Dallas, TX headquarters
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit recently hosted franchise Owner/Operators from all corners of the world at their headquarters in Dallas, TX.
With the barbecue brand continuing its global expansion, it was time to bring these Owner/Operators together for an international meet up. Dickey’s welcomed brand partners from across Canada, Brazil, and the Philippines for a three-day summit to collaborate with the Dickey’s executives and departments heads, to take a tour of WD Provisions, Dickey’s state-of-the-art supply and distribution facility, as well as attending the Dickey Foundation’s annual Denim & Diamonds Fundraiser event. Additionally, the were joined by Dickey’s Owner/Operators from Texas, New York, Ohio, Michigan, New Jersey, Montana, Washington, Illinois, and Louisiana who also traveled to Dallas to enjoy the festivities.
“The opportunity for our international partners to learn, share and engage with each other and Dickey’s team members, as well as domestic Owner/Operators was one-half of the fantastic event”, said Jim Perkins, Executive Vice President International Development & Support. “The other half occurred around the dinner table, outside of work, over barbecue and traditional Texas activities. It was simply three very days well spent in Dallas that is certain to benefit the future of the brand as a whole.”
