This term is used in reference to bullfighting that is very prevalent in the Spanish culture. The phrase is also used to describe great strength, power, and dominance. Guests can look forward to a menu exploding with modern Latin favors. Alta Toro will incorporate extraordinary dishes from Latin American cuisines into this new restaurant.
Elk Grove, CA – LowBrau’s Slow and Low Smokehouse
A barbecue restaurant is coming to Old Town Elk Grove this April. The owner noted that the restaurant was inspired by the LowBrau restaurant he owns in Midtown Sacramento.
Chicago, IL – The Bellevue
A brand new restaurant called The Bellevue will debut in the Gold Coast neighborhood. Instead of a steakhouse concept, The Bellevue will focus on contemporary American cuisine. The owner confirms that he hopes to open the new restaurant sometime in Spring 2023.
Coppell, TX – Sushi Sakana
Sushi Sakana is planning a fourth North Texas location to offer its extensive menu of high quality dishes. The owner hopes to open in Coppell sometime at the end of April or in May 2023. The nearly 2,400-square-foot-space must undergo an interior renovation before opening to the public.
Chandler, AZ – Roll-Em-Up Taquitos
Roll-Em-Up Taquitos, the “first street casual restaurant brand and only taquito-centric franchise opportunity in the world,” is gearing up to make its Chandler debut later this spring. “We’re thrilled at the opportunity to bring Roll-Em-Up Taquitos to the Southeast Valley,” the owner said. “Our team first fell in love with the food, then the brand over a year ago.
Naples, FL – The Syren
The owner is adding to his restaurant portfolio with the launch of The Syren next month in Old Naples. “It’s definitely going to be the month of February,” he said, noting that the waterfront seafood restaurant was nearly ready to open when it was damaged by flooding from Hurricane Ian. “It set us back tremendously.”
