Second Vice President in the Company’s 44 year History
Effective immediately, Mark Reinhart has been promoted to the position of eegee’s Vice President, Manufacturing and Business Development.
As a High School Senior in 1974, Mark Reinhart spent his afternoons working the front counter at eegee’s. Over the past 4 decades he has held just about every position at the iconic Tucson restaurant chain.
This week, Mark assumed his latest role with eegee’s when he was promoted to the position of Vice President at the Tucson based quick service restaurant chain.
Previously the Director of Manufacturing and Distribution, Mark oversaw the Commissary where he was responsible for the purchasing, production and distribution of all products for the company. Additionally, he was responsible for the catering, wholesale and special events business units. Most importantly, Mark is the man behind many of the fresh frozen fruit eegee’s flavor creations that Tucsonans enjoy on a daily basis.
Mark has kept pace with the ever evolving food manufacturing industry. He is on the cutting edge of flavor analysis and has a unique skill set of taking menu concepts and turning them in to reality. Over the years Mark has kept eegee’s at the forefront of food sanitation and high volume production. “His fingerprints are engrained into every aspect of the company and there is no one more deserving of this accolade than Mark Reinhart,” said Robert Jensen, President of eegee’s.
In this new position, Mark will shift his focus to business development as eegee’s looks for new avenues of growth. His emphasis will be in implementing the distribution of manufactured food and beverage products outside of the traditional channels of eegee’s retail stores.
Tucson-based restaurant chain, eegee’s, makes and sells their signature fresh frozen fruit in lemon, strawberry and piña colada flavors, and a unique “flavor of the month.” eegee’s also serves made-to-order sub sandwiches, salads, fries and more at its 24 locations in Tucson and Casa Grande. eegee’s is committed to social and environmental involvement by donating time, food and money to local charities as well as minimizing waste at their 30,000 sq. ft commissary.
