Fajita Pete's Relocates Original Store to Accommodate Rapid Growth

Larger space needed to meet increasing demand for catering, pickup, delivery and dine-in service

Fajita Pete's Relocates Original Store to Accommodate Rapid GrowthDon’t panic if you notice the original Fajita Pete’s store is closed. You can still get Houston’s favorite fajitas at a brand-new, bigger and better location just around the corner!

Fajita Pete’s Founder, Pete Mora, unveiled the new restaurant today, located at 6719 Weslayan St. in Houston, on the opposite side of Whole Foods from the previous, original store that first opened in 2008.

“While we had a certain sentimental attachment to our very first restaurant, we’re celebrating a momentous day in our brand’s history as we open this beautiful new location,” said Mora. “I’m so proud of my entire team for all their hard work over the last ten years, and I’m so grateful to our loyal customers who have helped us expand not only here at our original location but across Houston and even to Dallas. We take great pride in preparing the best fajitas in the business and we look forward to sharing them with even more fajita lovers in the years ahead.”

The new restaurant – measuring 1,650 square feet compared to the original store’s 1,200 – features a more spacious dining area that matches the look and feel of the brand’s newer locations, such as Tomball and Spring. Mora also noted that the bigger footprint “allows us to get your food from our kitchen to your table in a more efficient manner, reducing your wait time for your meal.”

Best known for its fresh, made-from-scratch fajitas and thirst-quenching Margaritas TO-GO, Fajita Pete’s is distinguished by its focus on catering, pickup and delivery, in addition to serving its dine-in guests. The rapidly growing brand now has ten locations across Texas. Next to open will be Fajita Pete’s Firethorn, located in the suburban neighborhood of Katy, just beyond Houston’s west side. Another restaurant in Midtown (Houston) is set to open later this year.

Passionate franchisees are the driving force behind Fajita Pete’s continued expansion. The Fajita Pete’s Franchise Program offers a unique business model, including assistance with site selection, lease negotiations, restaurant design, construction, training and operations, as well as quality control and ongoing support through mentorship and marketing.
