Farmer Boys announced today that Karen Eadon joined the company as Vice President/Chief Marketing Officer. Eadon comes to Farmer Boys with over thirty years of restaurant industry experience in marketing and operations.
As the VP/ CMO, Eadon will lead Farmer Boys’ marketing, advertising, and public relations initiatives. The current brand strategy focusing on farm fresh food made to order will be further developed in partnership with President/COO Ken Clark and the company’s founders. “We could not be more excited about this new addition to our team. Eadon’s experience and wealth of industry knowledge will complement the brand’s ongoing efforts of growth and innovation,” said Clark.
In her career, Eadon has held various senior level positions with prominent restaurant brands. She retired from Mimi’s Cafe in February after the company moved their corporate office to Dallas. “It took me three months to realize I am not ready to retire. When the opportunity to join the Farmer Boys team came up, I jumped at it. Farmer Boys offers an exceptional product and a service format that is unique to the industry,” said Eadon.
“Consumers visit Farmer Boys’ expecting farm fresh food versus fast food,” said Clark, “With Eadon on our leadership team we have a great opportunity to build on the quality message of 100% pure beef and farm fresh ingredients harvested from local farms whenever possible.”
Prior to her time at Mimi’s Cafe, Eadon held senior executive marketing positions with Taco Bell, ARCO Products Company, Applebee’s, McDonald’s and El Pollo Loco. Her deep industry experience and track record of success in brand-building, consumer insights and driving profitable sales growth will be valuable assets to the Farmer Boys organization.
