America’s Largest Fast Casual Italian Chain Names Additional Key Hires and Promotion in Finance Department
Fazoli’s today announced three new appointments within its corporate finance department, including the hiring of David Hasler as chief financial officer. Hasler spent the past 10 years in finance roles with Wal-Mart, most recently as senior director of global treasury. As the newest member of the senior leadership team at Fazoli’s, he will oversee the Italian fast casual’s finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis, information technology, payroll and legal services departments.
Additional executive announcements in the finance department include:
- Tracy Haskins, CPA, has been promoted to vice president of finance and treasury. A 20-year Fazoli’s veteran, Haskins has been an instrumental part of financial transactions and capital restructuring events throughout her career with the company. Haskins earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky.
- Spencer Houlihan has rejoined Fazoli’s in the newly created role of vice president, financial planning and analysis. Houlihan originally started with the company in 2008 as a senior financial analyst and is back after a one-year hiatus with University of Kentucky Healthcare. Houlihan holds a master’s degree in finance from the University of Kentucky.
“The Fazoli’s brand is very fortunate to be starting off the year with such an impressive team guiding our finance department,” said Carl Howard, president and chief executive officer of Fazoli’s. “Tracy and Spencer are company veterans who have played an integral part in our success, while David brings a wealth of financial experience and expertise to the CFO role. We are in the midst of capitalizing on incredible franchise growth and 15 consecutive quarters of positive same-store sales, and I can’t think of better leaders to be at the financial helm during this exciting time.”
Prior to his 10 years at Wal-Mart in global treasury, financial planning and analysis, investor relations and finance and strategy for the grocery and health & wellness divisions, Hasler served in similar roles at The Body Shop International plc, Limited Brands and Procter & Gamble. A native of Lexington, he has an MBA from Xavier University and received his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Kentucky.
