The original First Watch restaurant in Sarasota has been expanded and updated as part of an overall remodel. Opened more than 25 years ago, the south Sarasota restaurant, located in the Square South Plaza at 8383 S. Tamiami Trail, features an expanded lobby, new community tables, soft seating areas, modern artwork and completely remodeled restrooms.
The restaurant – known for its prominent waterfront patio – was expanded through the acquisition of an additional 1,053 adjacent square feet that formerly housed a dry cleaner, bringing the total square footage of the redesigned restaurant to 4,681.
“We’re excited to refresh our very first restaurant in Sarasota with a modern look that more closely aligns with our goal of providing a pleasurable dining experience to all our guests,” said Chris Tomasso, chief marketing officer for First Watch.
