Award-winning Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch restaurant First Watch continued its expansion in the Kansas City metropolitan area this week with the opening of its 11th restaurant. The new 3,641 sq. ft. restaurant is located at 7301 W. 151st St. in Overland Park next to Papa John’s and Price Chopper, bringing the total number of First Watch restaurants in the state of Kansas to nine.
“We have been serving Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch in Kansas City for more than 25 years, and it is exciting that we can continue to find neighborhoods to open new restaurants in even after all those years” said Chris Tomasso, chief marketing officer for First Watch. “Our customers have been very good to us, and we look forward to reaching even more residents as we expand our presence not only in the city but the state.”
The restaurant features a new interior design concept known as “Connect.” It “connects” traditional First Watch design elements with contemporary executions by maximizing natural light provided during the restaurant’s daytime hours, and incorporating color tones intended to convey the warm and inviting personality of the First Watch brand. The design also accentuates an open-kitchen concept, which reinforces First Watch’s honest approach to fresh food preparation.
First Watch is known for delivering an excellent dining experience and fast, friendly service. A recipient of more than 200 “Best Of” accolades in markets across the country, the restaurant features traditional favorites including pancakes, omelets, salads and sandwiches, as well as signature specialties such as the Chickichanga®, Healthy Turkey Omelet™ and Fresh Fruit Crepes. All menu items are freshly prepared to order and the restaurant does not use deep fryers or heat lamps.
