“Daytime Café” opens in larger retail space a few doors down from original location

Award-winning Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch restaurant First Watch announced that it has relocated its restaurant at Boca Village Square just a few doors down within the center to 21170 St. Andrews Blvd. The new 3,400-square-foot restaurant, which opened today, features an outdoor patio and more seating than the original location. The move is part of the center’s extensive redevelopment.

News of this relocation comes just months after openings in West Boca Raton in the Mission Bay Plaza and Wellington in the Plaza at Wellington Green, bringing the total number of First Watch restaurants in Southeast Florida to six. First Watch currently has 41 restaurants in Florida.

“As we continue to expand our presence in South Florida, we are looking not only for opportunities to open new locations but also to grow our existing ones,” said Chris Tomasso, chief marketing officer for First Watch. “The Boca Village Square restaurant has gained a strong, loyal customer base since it opened just seven years ago, and when presented with the opportunity to expand, redesign and reach more guests with our unique offerings, we jumped at the chance.”

The new restaurant in Boca Village Square features an interior design concept known as “Connect.” It connects traditional First Watch design elements with contemporary executions by maximizing natural light and incorporating color tones that convey the warm and inviting personality of the brand. The design also accentuates an open-kitchen concept, which reinforces First Watch’s honest approach to fresh food preparation.

A recipient of more than 200 “Best Of” accolades in markets across the country, First Watch features traditional favorites including pancakes, omelets, salads and sandwiches, as well as signature specialties such as the Chickichanga®, Healthy Turkey Omelet™, Fresh Fruit Crepes and Sunrise Select® Premium Blend Coffee. The special blend is made from slow-roasted, hand-selected, high-grown Panamanian, Colombian and Mexican coffee beans. All menu items are freshly prepared to order and the restaurant does not use deep fryers or heat lamps.

In addition to all the traditional First Watch favorites, the restaurant will feature a new seasonal menu highlighting fall’s most-loved foods. Fall seasonal menu items include a Pumpkin Pancake Breakfast, Roasted Butternut Squash Quinoa Bowl and Butternut Squash Soup, and are available in all restaurants through Nov. 3. First Watch serves its entire menu seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The restaurant also offers guests complimentary newspapers and free Wi-Fi Internet access.
