The company is celebrating its new restaurant with a pre-opening fundraiser for the cause.
First Watch, the Cincinnati favorite breakfast, brunch and lunch concept, today announced that it will donate all money raised from a pre-opening event at its newest restaurant in Liberty Township to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, which serves the medical needs of infants, children and adolescents with family-centered care, innovative research and outstanding teaching programs. Event attendees in Liberty this weekend will enjoy a complimentary brunch from First Watch’s new menu, including fresh dishes like the Elevated Egg Sandwich and Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos, which is not yet available in most other Cincinnati First Watch restaurants.
The event will be held at the new First Watch at 6876 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, and is open to the public. A $10 per person donation is suggested. The 3,600-square-foot restaurant officially opens for business on Monday, May 9.
“We chose to partner with Cincinnati Children’s for a number of reasons, but most importantly, their dedication to the care, treatment and education of the families in my hometown of Cincinnati really resonated with our team here,” said Ken Pendery, CEO of First Watch. “We’re thrilled to be neighbors with the hospital’s growing campus in Liberty Township, and we’re honored to have the opportunity to be a part of their commitment to building healthy families in the Liberty community.”
The new restaurant will be 33-year-old First Watch’s 13th restaurant in the Cincinnati area and will employ about 25 people. It will serve the company’s fresh, new menu and flaunt its new restaurant design, which combines farm fresh elements with a high-energy, urban vibe.
The company’s curated new menu, which will be introduced in the other area First Watch restaurants in mid-May, takes an elevated approach to traditional and innovative offerings with made-to-order, farm fresh ingredients. It includes items such as Avocado Toast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The restaurant will offer healthy, flavorful favorites like house-made granola and pico de gallo, organic greens, house-roasted vegetables, cage-free eggs and 100% fresh-squeezed orange juice.
First Watch in Liberty Township will also offer options from the eatery’s Fresh Juice Bar, juiced in-house daily from fresh fruits and vegetables sourced locally whenever possible. The restaurant will serve its exclusive Sunrise Select Premium Blend Coffee, made from slow-roasted, hand-selected, high-grown coffee beans from mountains across North, Central and South America, by the pot.
First Watch serves its entire menu seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The restaurant also offers customers complimentary newspapers and free Wi-Fi Internet access.
