The restaurant is hosting a two-day pre-opening event for the cause.

First Watch Restaurants, the popular breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant, today announced that it will donate all money raised from a pre-opening event of its newest restaurant on the corner of East Bay Drive and US-19 to All Children’s Hospital Johns Hopkins Medicine, in St. Petersburg, which provides expert pediatric care for infants, children and teens with some of the most challenging medical problems in the community and around the world.

The pre-opening event will be held at the new First Watch at 5310 East Bay Drive, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both Saturday, Feb. 27, and Sunday, Feb. 28, and is open to the public. A $10 per person donation is suggested. The restaurant officially opens for business on Monday, Feb. 29.

“All Children’s holds a special place in our hearts here at First Watch; some of our own team members have seen firsthand their specialists’ dedication to the care, treatment and education of our own families,” said Chris Tomasso, president of First Watch. “We wanted to take this opportunity to give back to an organization that gives so much to our community every day by caring for our children and helping to build healthy families. We figured inviting our friends in Clearwater to a fundraiser for kids was a great way to do that.”

The new restaurant will be 33-year-old First Watch’s 49th restaurant in Florida and will employ about 25 people. It will serve the company’s fresh, new menu and flaunt its new restaurant design, which combines farm fresh elements with a high-energy, urban vibe.

The company’s curated menu takes an elevated approach to traditional and innovative offerings with made-to-order, farm fresh ingredients. It includes items such as Avocado Toast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The restaurant will offer healthy, flavorful favorites like house-made granola and pico de gallo, organic greens, house-roasted vegetables, cage-free eggs and 100% fresh-squeezed orange juice.

First Watch will also offer options from its Fresh Juice Bar, juiced in-house daily from fresh fruits and vegetables sourced locally whenever possible. The restaurant will serve its exclusive Sunrise Select Premium Blend Coffee, made from slow-roasted, hand-selected, high-grown coffee beans from mountains across North, Central and South America.

First Watch serves its entire menu seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The restaurant also offers customers complimentary newspapers and free Wi-Fi Internet access.
