First Watch, the nation’s leading Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch concept, today announced plans to open its tenth restaurant in the Tampa Bay-area in the fall of 2014 in Largo. Currently, there are 42 First Watch restaurants in Florida.
The Largo First Watch will be located at 13100 Seminole Boulevard in a to-be-developed shopping center across from the Largo Mall near the intersection of Seminole Boulevard and Ulmerton Road. The new 3,425-square-foot restaurant will feature a patio for outdoor dining and employ approximately 25 people.
“First Watch looks forward to becoming a breakfast tradition in the community of Largo,” said Chris Tomasso, chief marketing officer for First Watch. “With Largo’s recent growth and redevelopment, we felt it was a natural fit for our trendsetting daytime concept as we looked for opportunities to align with new communities.”
The new Largo restaurant’s design will accentuate an open-kitchen concept, which reinforces First Watch’s honest approach to fresh food preparation – all menu items are freshly prepared to order and the restaurant does not use deep fryers, microwaves or heat lamps.
Taking freshness to heart, First Watch offers 100% fresh-squeezed Orange Juice; house-made granola, salsa and dressings; house-roasted veggies and looks to locally source produce whenever possible. In addition to serving unique and fresh entrées, First Watch offers its exclusive Sunrise Select® Premium Blend Coffee. The special blend is made from slow-roasted, hand-selected, high-grown coffee beans from mountains across the Americas.
A recipient of more than 200 “Best Of” accolades in markets across the country, including the 2014 “MenuMasters Award” by Nation’s Restaurant News for the Quinoa Power Bowl. First Watch features traditional favorites including pancakes, omelets, salads and sandwiches, as well as signature specialties such as the Chickichanga, Healthy Turkey Omelet and Fresh Fruit Crepes.
First Watch serves its entire menu seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The restaurant also offers guests complimentary newspapers and free Wi-Fi Internet access.
