First Watch, the nation’s leading Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch concept today announced plans to expand its presence in Ohio with the opening of a new restaurant in Macedonia. First Watch currently has six additional Cleveland restaurants including Westlake, Rocky River, Mayfield Heights, Fairlawn, University Heights and Solon. The Macedonia restaurant will open in spring 2015.
“We are so excited to continue to be a part of such an evolving “foodie” movement in Cleveland,” said Chris Tomasso, chief marketing officer for First Watch. “We look forward to bringing our fresh approach to Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch to Macedonia and sharing our Daytime Café philosophy by offering unique, tasty recipes.”
The Macedonia First Watch will be located in an end cap space in the new the Macedonia Marketplace located on the Northeast corner of Route 82 and Route 8. The 3,500 square-foot restaurant will have an outdoor patio for dining and will employ approximately 25 people.
The new restaurant’s design will accentuate an open-kitchen concept, which reinforces First Watch’s honest approach to fresh food preparation. All menu items are freshly prepared to order and the restaurant does not use deep fryers or heat lamps.
First Watch takes freshness to heart starting each day cutting fresh fruit and vegetables, making items like French toast, crepe batter, granola and salsa from scratch, roasting vegetables in-house daily and offering 100% fresh-squeezed Orange Juice. First Watch also looks to locally source produce whenever possible. In addition to serving unique and fresh entrées, First Watch offers its exclusive Sunrise Select Premium Blend Coffee. The special blend is made from slow-roasted, hand-selected, high-grown coffee beans from mountains across the Americas.
