Get ready California, the new Dickey’s location in Folsom is opening this Thursday, May 24 and will be serving the first 100 customers free slow-smoked pulled pork big barbecue sandwiches.”We can’t wait to open,” said franchise owner Ray Snook, who will run this location with his wife Ann, their daughter Grace and son Joel. “The community is very excited for our opening — we’ve had a lot of people come up to us and tell us how excited they are—we’ve even gotten several hugs!”
The Snook family is originally from England and moved to California 10 years ago. Grace worked for Dickey’s and enjoyed the concept and food so much that when it came time for the family to choose a franchise there was no question—it had to be Dickey’s.
This smokin’ new location is at 1016 Riley Street, Suite 4 and 5. Dickey’s is open from 11am to 9pm daily.
