Percentage of Sales Donated from Grand Opening Event will Provide Local Children with School Supplies
Villa Enterprises, multi-brand restaurant operator and franchisor celebrating 50 years in business, held a “Dine to Donate” fundraiser and grand opening celebration for its ten restaurants, Villa Italian Kitchen, Green Leaf’s, Bananas, and South Philly Steaks & Fries, Far East Asian Fire, Tinta Mexicana, Mo’ Burger, Sukotto Japanese Grill, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Church’s Chicken, at the completely transformed new “Food Hall by Villa”, at Arizona Mills Shopping Center in Tempe, Arizona, Saturday, August 23rd, 2014. A total of $1500 was raised from a percentage of sales and donated to local charity, Treasures 4 Teachers, from the grand opening.
Grand Opening festivities included a ribbon cutting with the Tempe Chamber of Commerce and dignitaries in attendance. A quartet of young talented musicians from the Arizona Metropolitan Youth Symphony played while guests enjoyed tasting menu items from the new Food Hall restaurants. The first 200 Guests lined up before the mall opened to receive a Free Prize Pack and entered to win a Mongoose Mountain Bike, GoPro Camera and a 32” LED TV with three winners chosen from the local community. Children enjoyed free carousel rides and face painting while their parents enjoyed samples of smoothies while dining to donate for charity.
Founded in Tempe, Arizona in 2004, Treasures 4 Teachers is a local nonprofit which provides free and low cost supplies to teachers from community reusable resources. “Teachers spend up to $1000 each year out of their own pockets to provide supplies to their students in need,” said Barbara Blalock, executive director of Treasures 4 Teachers. “This financial donation will help to offset that amount to provide free supplies to the teachers and students that need them most. We can’t thank Villa’s Food Hall enough for choosing us to receive this generous financial contribution.”

Treasures 4 Teachers is a local nonprofit which provides free and low cost supplies to teachers from community reusable resources.
