Construction is complete and Freddy’s newest restaurant has opened. You can find Freddy’s at 15518 E. Hwy 529/Spencer Road in the Copperfield Crossing Center. This is the first Freddy’s in the Houston metro area but the franchise group has impressive plans for growth in the market.
Operator Padden Nelson is working on a deal for a second location near the Eldridge shopping district and signed a development agreement outlining 30 more stores over the next ten years. “Freddy’s is famous for serving the highest-quality, freshly prepared steakburgers and Freddy’s shoe-string fries. The frozen custard is made fresh in the store throughout the day and our attitude of service and hospitality is second-to-none in the quick-casual segment,” commented Nelson.
The opening in Houston brings the nationwide count for Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers to 66. “Freddy’s has been a great fit for Texas with our restaurants in Austin, Dallas and San Antonio. A local crew of nearly 60 staff members was on site training for three days and hosted a Friends and Family welcome event Saturday to ready the team. The free-standing restaurant offers indoor and patio seating as well as drive-thru service.
