Free Meal for Moms on Easter at Arooga'sArooga’s, a Healthy Dining restaurant partner, has a special treat for Moms this Easter: a free meal!*

All day Easter, Sunday, March 27, moms eat free with the purchase of a meal of equal or greater value at the restaurant, which proudly sources clean ingredients – free of additives and preservatives. The “free meal for moms” promotion is available at all of Arooga’s 10 Pennsylvania locations.

“Easter Sunday is a great opportunity for mom to sample from our recently revamped, cleaner menu – for free – and enjoy the holiday in our fun, friendly atmosphere,” said Arooga’s co-founder and president, Gary Huether, Jr.

Arooga’s worked with Healthy Dining’s dietitians to analyze and qualify new menu items featured on HealthyDiningFinder.com as well as improve the health profiles of many customer favorites and kids’ meals, too.

“With this new menu, we’re providing cleaner ingredients and organic produce where it makes sense, because we want to assure that we are able to continue offering our customers value along with higher quality ingredients,” said Huether.

The restaurant is committed to sourcing better ingredients, like cage-free eggs. Their menu, which features organic produce and no antibiotic ever proteins (NABE), also includes new vegetarian options.

“Arooga’s really went above and beyond when designing their Healthy Dining menu,” says Mary Parsons, MS, RD, Healthy Dining culinary dietitian. “Their culinary team took full advantage of the opportunity to work with a dietitian and custom-built enticing new menu items featuring whole grains, fresh vegetables, lean grilled proteins and even reduced sodium options.”

Certified for gluten-free dining by the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness, Arooga’s is also a certified green restaurant, committed to reducing their carbon footprint.

Here is a sample of Arooga’s dietitian-recommended menu options featured on HealthyDiningFinder.com:
