Fresh to Order Opens New Restaurant Prototype at Emory Point in Atlanta

Fresh To Order (f2o), the pioneer of “fast fine,” unveiled its new prototype with the opening of its seventh restaurant at Emory Point, which is located across from the Centers for Disease Control and nearby Emory University in Atlanta. The striking 2,800 square foot restaurant, which features an additional 500 square foot outdoor patio, evokes a comfortable yet upscale contemporary design.

Characteristic of Fresh To Order restaurants are the minimal use of color, clean lines and curved accents that together with its fast fine menu, a newly identified segment in foodservice, complement each other perfectly. Because every protein is cooked “Fresh To Order” on a flame grill, the open-display kitchen continues to serve as the focal point.

The new prototype enhances this recognizable look through the addition of softer interior colors alongside interesting textures. Colors such as white, chartreuse, and red that reinforce the concept’s “fresh” offering can be found throughout the restaurant. Textures range from shiny tiles, to brushed metal wainscot, tweed booths, matte and textured bamboo patterned walls.

A new storefront and interior signage that includes its “fine.food.fast” tagline has also been developed. Variable seating configurations for the dining room, bar area and patio give guests different choices for dining. The new unit, which is located on a corner end-cap space, features the 20-seat patio and full service bar serving craft liquor, signature drinks, craft beers, and wines that aims to capture additional guests during its dinner daypart.

“The new elements reinforce f2o’s innovative “fast fine” positioning, which combines the quality of food and environment found in fine dining restaurants with the operating platform and price point of the fast casual segment,” says founder and CEO, Pierre Panos .

Panos, a veteran fine-dining restaurateur, began franchising Fresh To Order in 2010 and expects to grow his popular, Atlanta-based chain to 50 restaurants during the next five years.
