Fuddruckers, home of the World’s Greatest Hamburgers, is expanding its presence in Texas this spring with the addition of two corporate-owned locations. In San Antonio, where the fast casual brand first began more than 30 years ago, construction is underway on a 3,000-square-foot space at 11654 Bandera Road that previously housed a Cheesy Jane’s. And in the company’s adopted hometown and headquarters of Houston, a former Arby’s location at 7724 Louetta Road is in the process of being converted to feature 2,700 square feet of interior and 800 square feet of patio space. Both are anticipated to debut in April 2012.
Both locations will feature Fuddruckers’ dynamic, new interior scheme that pays homage to the chain’s signature roadhouse look while streamlining the popular design for today’s more sophisticated tastes. The resulting ambience will be warm and inviting, offering a setting that is accommodating for everything from a family gathering to a couple’s night out. The restaurants will also highlight the Coca-Cola Freestyle system, which offers diners more than 100 preprogrammed soda flavors.
According to Peter Tropoli, Chief Operating Officer, “We look forward to optimizing these great locations, making it more convenient than ever for folks to get their Fuddruckers fix.”
Fuddruckers prides itself on using only fresh – never frozen – 100% USDA premium-cut beef. Hamburgers are cooked to order and served on delicious, sesame-topped buns that are baked from scratch on-site throughout the day to achieve the perfect combination of crisp crust and melt-in-your-mouth texture. Guests can then customize their burger at the legendary Build Your Own produce bar offering a fantastic array of fresh produce including sun-ripened tomatoes, hand-leafed lettuce, sliced onions, dill pickles, pico de gallo, Fudds cheese sauce and Heinz condiments.
Fuddruckers, home of the World’s Greatest Hamburgers, has been delivering uncompromised quality and freshness that inspires guests to build their own World’s Greatest Burger Experience, which Fuddruckers pioneered in 1980 with its legendary Market Fresh Produce and Fixins’ Bar. Fuddruckers has nearly 200 restaurants throughout North America. Two-thirds of Fuddruckers restaurants are franchised by small business owners and multi-unit operators in cities and neighborhoods across 32 states, Washington D.C., Canada and Puerto Rico.
