FuegoMundo Adds Kobe Beef and Sushi with a Latin Flair

New menu additions of Kobe beef and sushi keep customers engaged and excited about FuegoMundo, the first Kosher South American restaurant in the USA. Chef and co-owner Masha Hleap-Hershkovitz continues to create menu items that have set new expectations for what to expect for healthy, kosher dining.

Kobe beef is recognized as one of the best internationally and uses the Japanese BMS scoring system. Its marbling and tenderness is superior to other sources of kosher beef. FuegoMundo grills its steaks, using a wood-fire grill fueled exclusively with Georgia natural oak wood. The Kobe steak is prepared Argentinean Style with FuegoMundo’s chimichurri sauce and house marinades. The beef is hormone-free, antibiotic-free and kosher, fitting with the healthy focus of the FuegoMundo menu.

Sushi offerings with a Latin-influence give customers a new look at South American cuisine. The fusion of Asian and Latin flavors in sushi rolls have been a hit with customers and offer variety that few kosher restaurants delve into on their menus.

“Our focus at FuegoMundo is to offer healthy menu options to our customers and community, and to give them the opportunity to expand their culinary horizons. Our gluten-free, dairy-free specialty cakes along with Kobe beef and sushi rolls are unique products that our customers have been excited about this year,” says owner Masha Hleap-Hershkovitz.

FuegoMundo opened its doors three years ago in June 2009 and became Kosher in 2011, the first of its kind restaurant in the USA. The restaurant offers an authentic and healthy taste of South American cuisine spanning the entire continent. The menu includes dishes from Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, El Salvador, Cuba, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and more. Entrees are cooked over a wood-fire grill and marinated with authentic South American flavors. In addition to being Kosher, there are menu options for vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free and dairy-free restrictive diets.

FuegoMundo is located at The Prado Center in Sandy Springs, Georgia. To learn more about the restaurant, AKC Kosher certification, and menu changes visit online at http://www.fuegomundo.com.
