Award-Winning Franchise Adds Former Mazzio’s LLC CEO to Leadership Team
Lippert is a 30-year industry veteran, and since 2005 was chief executive officer of Mazzio’s LLC, where he directed Mazzio’s, Zio’s Italian Kitchen Brands and recently introduced the Oliveto Italian Bistro to the portfolio of restaurants. He has extensive experience in restaurant leadership, operations and marketing. Lippert has been a featured speaker at the Chain Operators Exchange (COEX) and Multi-Unit Foodservice Operators (MUFSO) conferences, and has also served on restaurant industry boards and community volunteer boards.

Prior to joining Mazzio’s LLC, Lippert served as chief concept officer and chief operating officer of Fazoli’s Management, Inc. He launched his career at The Procter and Gamble Company and The Seven-Up Company. Lippert earned a Bachelors of Arts degree from DePauw University.

The Lube has projected 11 new restaurant openings in 2014 and recently opened a location in Warren, Ohio. Another restaurant opens today in Edison, N.J. The remainder will open throughout 2014 in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, New Jersey, Texas, with restaurants also debuting in Louisiana, Michigan and Nebraska.
The compelling décor, including race cars suspended from the ceilings, motorcycles, Corvettes and motor-themed memorabilia, combined with its crave-able nationally recognized Award-Winning menu and SuperCharged events, has created a cult-like following for The Lube for 40 years.
