Guy Fieri has gotten rich off of his Food Network fame. We estimate he earned $8 million in the last 12 months ranking him 10th on Forbes’ list of the Highest-Paid Chefs. But the spikey-haired, tattooed restaurant-owner would prefer people stopped asking him about the huge hamburgers he sometimes gobbles down on his popular show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
“People say that ‘Triple D’ is all about greasy burgers and corn dogs,” says Fieri. “We’ve done like one show about corn dogs. It’s funny how people stereotype.”
Fieri would really prefer that people focus on the hand-made aspect of the dishes he features on the show explaining that everything is vetted and checked before filming even begins to make sure the show focuses on people who are all about making good, honest food.
