Hardee’s Introduces Three New Hand-Breaded Chicken Tender Sandwiches

Hardee’sis once again expanding its popular line-up of Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders with three new varieties of Hand-Breaded Chicken Tender Sandwiches. Now available at all Hardee’s locations, the Hand-Breaded Chicken Tender Sandwiches (in Original, Honey Mustard and Bacon Swiss) are freshly prepared, battered and breaded by hand.

“Our customers simply love the taste and quality of our famous Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders because they’re made the way you would make them at home – by hand, using the tenderloin of the chicken breast that we batter with buttermilk and egg and then bread with seasoned flour,” said Brad Haley, chief marketing officer for Hardee’s. “Since their introduction over two years ago, we have offered our Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders as Wrappers for snack occasions and as boneless Buffalo wings that rivaled anything you could get at a sports bar. So, it was no surprise that when we tried them as a sandwich on a bun, they were just as delicious and unlike any chicken sandwich available at other hamburger fast food chains. And, because we make them ourselves by hand, we can even offer them at more attractive prices than most of those other chains that use previously-fried and frozen chicken in their sandwiches.”

The Hand-Breaded Chicken Tender Sandwiches feature two Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders dipped in a buttermilk and egg batter, dusted with seasoned flour, fried to a golden perfection, topped with fresh lettuce and tomato, on a seeded bun. Hardee’s is offering three versions of this sure-to-be classic: Original, Honey Mustard and Bacon Swiss. The Original is sauced with mayo; the Honey Mustard features its namesake sauce; and the Bacon Swiss comes with two strips of crispy bacon, Swiss cheese and buttermilk ranch dressing.

The Original and Honey Mustard Hand-Breaded Chicken Tender Sandwiches are available for $2.79 as an entrée or $4.79 as a small combo with Natural Cut French Fries and a beverage. The Bacon Swiss Hand-Breaded Chicken Tender Sandwich costs $3.69 as an entrée or $5.69 as a small combo with Natural Cut French Fries and a beverage. All three Hand-Breaded Chicken Tender Sandwiches are now available at participating Hardee’s. Prices may vary by location.
