California-based Healthy Dining announced the addition of Barry Siegel as its new Director of Industry Partnerships. With more than twenty-five years of key industry experience in marketing and brand management, Siegel’s integral role will be to significantly expand the scope of national, regional and local restaurant brands the company serves.

A well-known leader and innovator, Siegel has strong roots in the restaurant industry that will be instrumental to Healthy Dining’s continuing growth. Siegel’s restaurant executive-level tenures include serving as Senior Marketing Director of Outback Steakhouse, Vice President of Marketing for the Catalina Restaurant Group and Director of Marketing for Minus5 Ice Bar. Siegel has also held senior level sports marketing positions with Major League Soccer and the United States Olympic Committee and has consulted for and served on boards of various non-profit organizations.

“We are thrilled to have Barry join us on our mission to contribute to a healthier America – in a delicious way!” said Anita Jones-Mueller, president and founder of Healthy Dining. “Barry’s exceptional strengths in building strategic partnerships and expertise in corporate brand strategy will be a strong asset to us as we continue to grow and expand our restaurant partners – to ultimately empower more Americans to eat healthier and live higher quality lives.”

Said Siegel, “I could not be more excited to join a company whose mission is to help improve the health and well-being of restaurant guests and employees.  A passion for this worthy organization, combined with my related industry experience, makes this a perfect fit.   Among my first goals is to help make it easy for restaurants to comply with new menu labeling laws through the expertise and talent of Healthy Dining’s team of culinary dietitians. As well, marketing benefits are always top of mind with me, and I see the HealthyDiningFinder program as an important strategy for restaurants as nutrition continues to escalate in demand with guests.”
